Arunachal Cabinet Acknowledges Unsung Heroes Who Fought Against British Oppression

In a significant move, the Arunachal Pradesh Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Pema Khandu, has accepted the “Report on the Unsung Heroes of Arunachal Pradesh Who Fought Against the British.”

The report, which was submitted by the Department of History at Rajiv Gandhi University, sheds light on the valiant efforts of the forgotten heroes who stood up against the British oppression to safeguard the motherland and grant freedom. The fourth Cabinet meeting of 2023, held on February 13, discussed the report at length and acknowledged the work done by the Department of History at Rajiv Gandhi University.

The Chief Minister expressed confidence that this study would revive the golden history of the state and help the people of Arunachal Pradesh reconnect with their forgotten heroes.

“I am sure the study will revive golden history of our State & help us reconnect with forgotten heroes who fought valiantly against oppression of Britishers to safeguard the motherland and give us the precious freedom”, he tweeted.
