While visiting the Gangte view point, Khandu saw potential for the area to become a tourist attraction and said he will prioritise the matter, suggesting that a competent and reputable consultant be hired to plan the project. He also addressed the old Pha bridge connecting Gangte circle with Kamle district, pledging funds for the construction of a permanent RCC bridge. The Chief Minister expressed concern over the outdated quarters and building of the Government Middle School in Gangte and promised to sanction funds for new infrastructure within the next month.
