Construction of Chinese Dam on Himalayan River Sparks Environmental Concerns, Researcher Warns

According to geospatial researcher, Damien Symon satellite images reveal that, China has been constructing a dam on the Mabja Zangbo river, located just a few kilometers north of the trijunction border with India and Nepal.

While the structure is not yet complete, the project since early 2021, raises concerns about China’s potential control over water resources in the fragile Himalayan region and its potential impact on the environment.
