Missing Indian mountaineer found alive on Nepal’s Mount Annapurna

Anurag Maloo, an Indian mountaineer who went missing while descending Nepal’s Mount Annapurna last week, has been discovered alive. According to his brother Sudhir, “He is found alive. He has been taken to the hospital in critical condition, but he is still alive.”

Anurag Maloo began his climb of Mount Annapurna last week but unfortunately fell while descending from an altitude of 6,000 meters on April 17th.

Anurag Maloo has undertaken a mission to climb all 14 peaks that are over 8,000 meters in height and the seven highest points in all seven continents to raise awareness and drive action towards achieving the UN Global Goals.
