Act East Policy, Security and People

In conversation with Bipul Chatterjee, executive director of the Consumer, Utility and Trust Society ( CUTS) International- a centre for international trade, economics & environment . In this segment, Mr. Chatterjee sheds light upon the necessity to balance security development along the borderlands with people’s need for the development of educational, cultural, health care and trade and commerce facilities, thus enhancing connectivity at the border areas. This is one of the objectives of the Act East Asia Policy and a vision pursued by the CUTS International .
