BSF Meghalaya Marks World Cancer Day with Awareness Campaign

The Border Security Force Meghalaya marked World Cancer Day on February 4, 2023 by holding an awareness event at the Composite Hospital in Shillong.

DIG (Med) Dr. Angel Bennet educated BSF personnel and their families about various types of cancer and ways to prevent them. During the event, 80 individuals participated in a cancer screening camp.

The Chief Guest, Sh Pradip Kumar, IPS, IG BSF Meghalaya urged BSF members to adopt a healthier lifestyle and change their lifestyle and eating habits to avoid cancer.
