In a historic moment for the Indian Army, Col Archna Sood has become the first woman officer to command a Border Road Task Force. The baton of the 756 Task Force was handed over to her by Lt Gen Rajeev Chaudhry, VSM on 17th February.

Col Sood will be responsible for the development of strategic infrastructure along the challenging border areas of Arunachal Pradesh.
