Myanmar’s escalating conflict, China’s role and the road ahead (Part 2)

Myanmar’s military is under repeated attack from resistance forces. The National Unity Government is certainly gaining momentum and capturing vast swathes of territories all across the country. The leadership of the NUG wants India to take notice and respond to its call to engage. So should New Delhi take a call? Now that China has also provided tacit support to ‘Operation 1027’ or are there still too many actors with different agendas which makes the common goal of the Resistance Forces to replace the Burmese junta still a tall ask.
