Assam Rifles seize ‘war-like’ arms and ammunition in Moreh operation
Assam Rifles conducted a successful operation on March 1, 2024 near Elora Hotel in Moreh, recovering arms, ammunition, and war-like stores.
According to a report, the operation was launched based on intelligence which led to the recovery of one .38 pistol, 10 homemade improvised explosive devices (IEDs), three grenades, and various types of ammunition. The recovered weapons and ammunition were subsequently handed over to local police authorities.
