In the last couple of years, tensions have existed between the Chinese army and the Indian army in Ladakh. In response to China’s deployment of troops along the Line of Actual Control, India also deployed troops. This led to commander-level meetings between the two armies. After the 16th meeting, the Chinese army started disengaging from Patrol Point-15 ,in Gogra-Hot springs, when both sides agreed to withdraw from the LAC. The Sanatan Prabhat twitter handle @sanatan_prabhat informed that the Indian army has also begun withdrawing its troops. China said that the withdrawal of troops is conducive to maintaining peace in the India-China border.
