Chief Minister Pema Khandu of Arunachal Pradesh recently took to Twitter to express heartfelt gratitude and celebrate the cultural diversity and development in the state. In a significant interaction, leaders of Community-Based Organisations (CBOs) had the privilege of meeting and interacting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Through his tweets, Chief Minister Khandu not only conveyed appreciation for the Prime Minister’s efforts in resolving border disputes but also highlighted the deep cultural bond between Arunachal Pradesh and Gujarat.

In his first tweet, Chief Minister Pema Khandu shared his joy and honour as he recounted the momentous meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leaders of Community-Based Organisations in Arunachal Pradesh. 

Prime Minister Modi acknowledged and admired the cultural and historical connection between Arunachal Pradesh and Gujarat during this interaction. The Prime Minister also showed genuine interest in the experiences of the CBO members’ visit to the Statue of Unity at Kevadia and GIFT City. The meeting showcased the spirit of “Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat,” promoting unity and celebrating the nation’s rich diversity.

Chief Minister Khandu further expressed deep appreciation to the Prime Minister for his instrumental role in resolving the long-standing border dispute with Assam, where the dedicated efforts of CBO members played a significant role. This positive development has set Arunachal Pradesh on a path of progress, with a renewed focus on infrastructure development under the visionary guidance of Prime Minister Modi.
